FITOSTILL PLUS GOTAS OCULARES

Fitostill Plus eye drops in convenient sterile single-dose ampoules are a specific adjuvant for the prevention and treatment of red and tired eyes. Thanks to the formation of a protective film, they maintain adequate hydration and help restore the natural lubricating function of the eye’s tear film.

The components of Fitostill Plus define the product through their main actions:

• protective and lubricating, thanks to the content of sodium hyaluronate, which relieves and prevents discomfort associated with dry eye syndrome;
• protective and hydrating, due to the polysaccharide components contained in Liguflos (freeze-dried extract of ligulate chamomile flowers) and chamomile distilled water;
• moisturising, thanks to vegetable glycerin.

The synergistic action of Fitostill Plus components therefore exerts a soothing effect on irritated eyes and can be used both to alleviate discomfort and to prevent it.

Fitostill Plus eye drops are particularly suitable for people suffering from ocular dryness (low tear production) and in cases of eye fatigue and redness caused by direct external factors (airborne dust, pollen, low humidity, wind, exposure to salty environments, cold, intense sunlight, use of contact lenses) or indirect factors (computer and TV use, prolonged reading, concentration while driving).
Fitostill Plus eye drops are suitable for frequent use, several times a day, and can be used by contact lens wearers, even while wearing lenses.
Fitostill Plus eye drops come in convenient sterile single-dose ampoules, without preservatives or colourants. Their slight colour is due to the plant-based Liguflos component.

INDICATIONS:

Fitostill Plus is useful for soothing and preventing eye irritation, relieving the sensation of burning caused by harmful external agents or prolonged visual strain.
Particularly indicated for those suffering from discomfort related to dry eye syndrome (reduced quality and quantity of tear production).

CHARACTERISTICS OF THE MAIN COMPONENTS

LIGUFLOS: Freeze-dried extract of ligulate female chamomile flowers. The study of the biochemical characteristics of the chamomile flower head has shown that the ligules — commonly referred to as “petals” — are particularly rich in polysaccharides, with a higher content than the entire flower head. Since polysaccharides are the key functional substances responsible for hydrating and soothing activity, Aboca has developed an innovative production process to obtain Liguflos. Fresh flowers are harvested from Aboca’s fields, then dried and carefully selected to isolate only the ligules. These are extracted and freeze-dried to concentrate the functional substances.

CHAMOMILE DISTILLED WATER: Distilled waters, also known as hydrolates, are obtained by steam distillation of fresh plant material and represent the aqueous fraction separated from the essential oil. Chamomile distilled water obtained from fresh flowers is filtered to ensure purity and is used for its hydrating properties; it also contributes to the refreshing action of the product.

SODIUM HYALURONATE: Its fundamental characteristic is its ability to form a molecular structure with high hydration and lubrication capacity. In the eye, it reduces friction during blinking.

VEGETABLE GLYCERIN: The hydrolysis of vegetable oils yields two components: fatty acids and glycerin (glycerol). This substance is characterised by moisturising and humectant properties thanks to its strong capacity to bind water and retain it for a long time within the cells it contacts, helping to limit dehydration.

HOW TO USE:

To open the ampoule, follow the instructions on the sachet. Instil 2–3 drops in each eye by gently squeezing the ampoule. The single-dose ampoule can be resealed; once opened, it can be closed again and used within 12 hours.

WARNINGS:

The product is intended for ophthalmic use only.
• During application, do not touch the eye or any other surface with the tip of the ampoule.
• Do not use in case of known hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components.
• If discomfort occurs during use, discontinue treatment and consult a physician.
Store at room temperature, away from heat sources and protected from light. Keep out of reach of children. The expiry date refers to the unopened product stored correctly.
