MELILAX PEDIATRIC

INDICATIONS:

MeliLax Pediatric is indicated for the treatment of constipation in children, even in the presence of visceral hypersensitivity (such as irritable bowel syndrome), anal fissures, and haemorrhoids.
The product evacuates the bowel and reduces discomfort, irritation, and inflammation associated with constipation.

HOW IT WORKS:

MeliLax Pediatric combines an evacuating action with a protective and consequently soothing action on the rectal mucosa.
The dual action of MeliLax is achieved thanks to PROMELAXIN, a complex of nectar and honeydew honeys carefully selected and processed according to their content of monosaccharides, polysaccharides, and melanoidins, enriched with the polysaccharide fraction of Aloe and Mallow. MeliLax Pediatric exerts an evacuating action that induces a stimulus to activate defecation.
Additionally, thanks to its mucus-like properties and viscosity, it protects the rectal mucosa during stool passage.
These special properties, together with its antioxidant action, give the product the ability to protect and consequently soothe the mucosa.

POSOLOGY AND DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

Open the micro-enema by removing the safety cap:
Hold the white round ring located above the bellows.
With the other hand, bend the cap until it breaks and completely separates from the ring.
Remove the cap.
Apply a few drops of product to the perianal area and gently insert the cannula into the rectum.
Completely compress the micro-enema and, once the application is finished, keep it pressed while withdrawing the cannula to prevent the product from being re-aspirated.

WARNINGS:

Do not use in case of hypersensitivity or individual allergy to one or more components. In cases of persistent constipation, it is important to consult a doctor to rule out other conditions. The micro-enema is disposable; therefore, it must not be reused even if only half the content is administered, as in the case of infants.
